Maurice Baroni has a broad practice, with particular expertise in industrial relations and employment matters.  He is also experienced in work health and safety law, transport law (including the National Heavy Vehicle Law), general commercial disputes, equity and corporations matters, shareholder disputes, and consumer law.

Background

Maurice was called to the bar in 2017 after having practised as a solicitor since 2001. He has appeared in state and federal courts, the NSW Coroner’s Court, administrative tribunals (including the Fair Commission, The NSW Industrial Relations Commission, NCAT, VCAT, Contracts of Carriage Tribunal, the Road Freight Transport Industry Tribunal, and the AAT), and Royal Commissions. 

Maurice is a member of the NSW Bar Association’s Industrial, Employment, Health, and Safety Committee.
