About

Prue was called to the Bar in July 2016 and works predominantly in the areas of employment, industrial, discrimination, commercial, administrative, constitutional, professional negligence and professional discipline law. She accepts briefs for matters in ACT, NSW and Victoria. She acts for individuals, private enterprise and corporations, government and statutory agencies.

Before joining the Bar, Prue spent more than 10 years working in national and international law firms in Australia and Hong Kong, including King & Wood Mallesons and Linklaters.

Prue graduated from the Australian National University in 2002 with First Class Honours and the University Medal in Law. She went on to work as the associate to the Honourable Dyson Heydon AC QC on the High Court of Australia. She later undertook further study at Oxford University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) with Distinction. She has been an associate lecturer at the ANU law school for a number of years.

Prue served as the President of the Women Lawyers Association of the ACT over 2015–2017 and is currently the ACT Bar Association representative on the Law Council of Australia’s Equal Opportunity Committee and Chair of the ACT Bar Association EEO Committee.
